BLUE ISLAND CITIZENS FOR PERSONS WITH DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES
Blue Island Citizens for Persons with Developmental Disabilities runs Blue Cap Food Pantry, which serves Blue Island, Robbins, and Calumet Park. At the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, they expanded to support surrounding areas. Upgrading to a walk-in refrigerator at the pantry allows them to meet increased need and to serve food disinvested communities.
